THERE HAS BEEN A 5 YEAR TIME SKIP SINCE THE LAST SEASON

Saturday, May 5, 2012 - “Earthlings” - Episode 28
January 4: Superboy, Miss Martian and Beast Boy arrive on Rann with Adam Strange to halt the Krolotean invasion at its source. They are assisted by Alanna and Sardath.
January 5: Alanna learns of Superboy and Miss Martian's relationship, that he cannot age (physically), and that he dumped her. We learn that Beast Boy is Garfield Logan and that his mother was killed by Queen Bee. Following a battle, M'gann incapacitates a Krolotean and when Superboy questions her she says that she uncovered the truth about what the Justice League did during their missing 16 hours.

Saturday, May 12, 2012 - “Alienated” - Episode 29
Both the Team and the Justice League discover that the invading Kroloteans are getting help from an unexpected source.

Saturday, May 19, 2012 - “Salvage” - Episode  30
While Superboy and Blue Beetle battle Intergang, Nightwing and others reach out to a former comrade.

Saturday, May 26, 2012 - “Beneath” - Episode  31
Blue Beetle searches for a missing friend, while other members of the Team travel to Bialya to investigate.

Design by Committee - CHARACTER CREATION COLLAB

In anticipation of the future activities, we thought it would be fun to all get together and design a few villains as an entire group so that everyone can feel like they "own" a part of the character! Perhaps design them in chat, over livestream, or iscribble!

has also recently submitted her character, the Black Hole Empress fav.me/d4xvf87 and was wondering if we would like to have a story arc involving an intergalactic/groupwide event involving her as one of the main antagonists. The Black Hole Empress is actually a recently-ousted empress that is looking to restart her empire--possibly by conquering Earth and nearby planets first. (That can be a July-August event that helps bridge what happens in the years before the 5-year time skip!)

SO, keeping those items in mind, perhaps we should design some "generals" that might have followed her. Or possibly other imperial-minded villains that would either want to support her or ally with her for the time being in order to coordinate a solar system-wide take over.

BRAINSTORMING IDEAS:

The SGPA is heavily female-populated, so maybe more males are needed?
As these are intended as main SGPA villains, they may be allowed to violate SOME stat/technical rules (nothing too crazy though--still don't want them so overpowered that they are invincible or terrible).
What makes a compelling villain to you? Someone with the right/honorable intentions but the wrong methods? Someone with a sympathetic past and story? Someone that is remorseless and has little "redeeming" traits so you don't feel guilty destroying them? Someone who just "looks cool" and is unflappable? Someone who is always the butt of jokes and is a constant failure?
What type of personalities should they have? Should they be similar? Maybe all VERY different? Do they know one another and are a team? Or are they all from different places?
50% of the work of a character's design is their look! What makes for a compelling villain to you? Wolf in sheep's clothing? Obviously shady and suspicious? Dangerously attractive? Disgustingly repulsive? Disturbingly flashy?
These 3 characters are "group-owned" and all active members will be able to draw art and do whatever they want with them pretty much! Exploitable to your heart's content IN EVERY WAY except commercially! IT'S ALMOST LIKE OWNING A SHARE OF STOCK IN THE COMPANY HAHAHA
If we are making 3 characters, we need 3 "lead designers" who will incorporate the many ideas into one concrete design and a character-sheet turn-around for everyone else to follow--yes, you will need to draw stuff! Any volunteers? :>

Contest for June: GENDERBENDING CONTEST!

Second order of business is the details for the Genderbending Contest~!
The gist of it is that you will genderbend your character (male into a female, and female into a male--and if your character is WAY androgynous and defies gender norms, then choose a gender and make them a sterotype!)
What criteria would you guys like to judge for the "winners" of the contest and what prizes would you find most tantalizing? xD

Distortions Project: It's very much on my to-do list! It will get done eventually! I am suuure by the end of May. LOL I know, I keep pushing it back, but I make good on my promises!

SGPA Headquarters: Some people have asked what the heck the SGPA headquarters looks like and where it is! I plan on getting around to that eventually! For now, please be happy with the vague description that is based out of an underwater cave thanks to Black Seiren's efforts. xD
