SGPA FORUM? Please give your input!

What do you guys think of having an sgpa forum OUTSIDE of deviantart?

I have webspace and would be able to install a forum with a webaddress like.. sgpa.strawberryink.ca (I could ALSO one day buy a domain name, but that might be further down the road if I think the group is stable and productive lol).

For me, chats/skyping is a lot of pressure and takes a lot of logistics/organization to get everyone on the same time zone. Plus the lag time between messages is annoying for me, which is why I prefer forum posting and taking my sweet sweet time to reply.

We can set up different areas to chat/post in for RPs, questions about the group, story and world-building sections, and even password protect it to make it more private (especially if you want to delve into more grown-up, DA TOS-violating stuff lol).
Then we could see everyone's RPs in one place and stalk each other's stories, right?!?! xDDDD

Anyway, just a possibility I am willing to work on if there is enough interest! We'd need moderators, of course, because I can't be everywhere doing everything, but I am willing to put in the groundwork for the 50+ active members (and possibly more) we do have.

It probably won't be ready for another few weeks because there is a lot to write and organize.
If you try to register, you might have to wait a while, because I have to manually activate each person and I want to make sure you are from the group and not some spambot or troll.
